Antique sextant with a three ring design frame. Silver scale, engraved with the serial number 7309.

A fine late 19th / early 20th century navigators Sextant, engraved on the arc No 7309. The silver scale reads from -5  degrees to 160 degrees and is divided into 10 minute increments. The index arm has swinging scale magnifier with glass light diffuser, the silver vernier scale reads from 0 to 10 seconds of arc. 6 inch radius.

This antique Sextant is in superb condition and is contained within its original hardwood box. It comes with two telescopes, telescope sun filter and adjusting tools. one telescope is absent, lock key not present.
