Antique Sextant made by Henry Hughes & Son Ltd, 59 Fenchurch Street, London.

A late 19th century navigators Sextant, brass frame with ladder design. Engraved on the arc Henry Hughes & Son Ltd, 59 Fenchurch Street, London.

The silver scale reads from -5  degrees to 155 degrees and is divided into 10 minute increments. The index arm has swinging scale magnifier, the silver vernier scale reads from 0 to 10 seconds of arc. 7 inch radius.

This antique Sextant is contained within its original hardwood box. It comes complete with all its accessories - Four telescopes, two eye piece sun filters, adjusting pin and box key.
